Kimbo Slice in EliteXC on CBS October 4th, 2008

Kimbo Slice has transformed from internet brawling legend to an EliteXC
MMA Mixed Martial Arts fighter. Currently 4 wins and no losses Kimbo has
become one of the most talked about fighters in the MMA World. He has
stunned fans with his knock out punching ability and has shown ground
skills with his Jiu-Jitsu. He possibly could be EliteXC's most complete
heavy weight fighter.

Malipet Muay Thai No Enough To Win in MMA

One of the hottest MMA fighters to enter Elite XC, Malaipet is a World Champion Muay Thai kickboxer who and has added Jiu-Jitsu to his arsenal and on September 26th, 2008 8:00 PST he faced his greatest challenge in David “Tarzan” Douglas but this was definitely not a normal fight.

The first 2 rounds Malipet and Tarzan were going toe to toe in the ring Tarzan dominating the ground game and Malipet destroying Tarzans body with swift kicks into his legs. At one point Tarzan seemed absolutely rocked taking a kick into the head, and then in muay thai style Malipet tenderized Tarzans left leg with multiple shin kicks.

But in round three the crowd was won over by Malipets ability loud kicking sounds, and huge forward elbows as Douglas went for a take down which seemed to be Malipet biggest weakness and propped Malipet up on the cage. David then rained down punches at Malipet from the top mount and the ref had to stop the fight. Douglas had won but the crowed booed him vigorously and cheered for Malipet.

Because most fan desire the standing blow by blow action Malipet has won over the crowd even though Tarzan walked away with the win.

Uriah Faber has been on a tear of huge win in the WEC and with a huge win against Jens Pulver comes up huge with the WEC Feather Weight Belt.

Mike Brown is one of the most savvy fighter in the WEC but will needs lots of training and just a little bit of luck to take the Belt away from Faber. But just like most fighters Brown has a punchers chance he can take hits and give out devastating counter punches.

Monday Night Football Cowboys Vs. Eagles

Probably one of the most exciting games of Monday Night football in a while The Cowboys take on the Eagles on September 15th, 2008. Predicted both high powered offenses go head to head and a game that was a close as close as you can get. With the ending score 41 to 37 Dallas.

Romo kept his cool after turning over the ball twice in the second half, one thrown interception and one fumble in the end zone captured by the eagles for a touch down. The Cowboys defense looks like it needs a shot of the basics as missed tackles and poor techniques allowed The Philadelphia Eagles to take advantage early wit both turnover resulting in touchdowns.

For the Eagles this was a huge test because of the media flock waiting to see what Donovan McNabb really can do this year after Head coach Mike Holmgren has a spew of family matter that almost put him into retirement and announcing that Donovan will always be his guy and that his health issues have vanished this off season. The real surprise is Brians Westbrooks ability to still run the ball down Dallas Cowboys throat without much effort but had a costly fumble late in the game that allowed Dallas another touchdown to take the lead.

The final work report is Dallas will need to work on tier high priced talented defense and bring them back to the basics before anyone will believe they are a Super Bowl contender in the NFL. And the Eagles will have to give the ball more to their bread and butter offensive weapon in Brian Westbrook.
